Three SSH operatives pass their IPAF qualifications.

A big congratulations is due to three of our operatives for passing their recent IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) course: http://www.ipaf.org/ 

The course ensures that the candidates are aware of the importance of:

• Attitude and behaviour to working at height
• Checking a risk assessment against the actual site
• The implications of sitting the machine in different positions
• Driving, manoeuvring and positioning the MEWP safely – by carrying out tasks in a range of difficult and challenging scenarios

All of the SSH operatives are now fully trained in the use of powered access, and their PAL (Powered Access Licence) Card is valid for 5 years.
