Description: SSH Cleaning were trusted to carry out the handover cleaning for this landmark new building in Portsmouth.

The Hard Interchange is the main hub for transport in the south of Portsmouth and as such is the major bus, train and passenger ferry facility. The Interchange at the Hard is the latest development of Portsmouth City Council’s work to regenerate the area.

Services offered to the public in the new building include:

  • First Travel Centre for bus and National Express information and tickets
  • Visitor Information, including Waterfront Gifts
  • Toilets
  • Refreshments
  • Seating areas

The 10 bays all have real-time information screens to show arrival times and will be used by First Bus, Stagecoach, National Express, Megabus and Park & Ride.

This complex site required highly skilled SSH operatives to carry out various cleaning tasks including:

  • High level cleaning
  • Specialist canopy cleaning (post stretching)
  • Window cleaning
  • External pressure washing
  • Interior Cleaning
  • Floor tile cleaning and buffing

Our client provided outstanding feedback once works were complete, commenting on how SSH operatives went out of their way to ensure the new building was opened on time. All works were completed on schedule, and there were zero incidents or accidents recorded on site.
